These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Intel Desk ("the Service"), operated by Chris Woodward. By accessing or using the Service at inteldesk.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Intel Desk is a real-time intelligence dashboard that aggregates and displays data from publicly available sources. The Service is currently provided free of charge.

  Important: Intel Desk does not provide financial, investment, legal, or professional advice. All data presented is aggregated from public sources and is for informational purposes only. You should not make any financial or business decisions based solely on information provided by the Service.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Access to the Service

The Service is currently offered free of charge. No payment is required to access the dashboard, feeds or alerts.
We reserve the right to modify features, introduce usage limits, or discontinue the Service at any time.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@inteldesk.app.

4. Data Sources and Third-Party APIs

The Service aggregates data from publicly available sources including RSS news feeds, Telegram public channels, X/Twitter public posts, and government publications. Market data is provided by Finnhub and Yahoo Finance. Analyst ratings are sourced from Seeking Alpha via RapidAPI.

We do not control the availability, accuracy, or timeliness of third-party data sources. While we strive for accuracy and timeliness, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any data presented. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. Third-party data providers may change their terms, restrict access, or discontinue service without notice to us.

Your custom watchlist data is stored securely in your account and is never shared with any data provider. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

5. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service downtime or interruptions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond normal use.
Redistribute, resell, or sublicense access to the Service or its data without written permission.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and software associated with Intel Desk are the property of Chris Woodward. Your account grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes.

News headlines, article summaries, and other third-party content displayed in the Service remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers. Intel Desk displays this content under fair use for the purposes of indexing, aggregation, and research.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intel Desk and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
